Please note, the prices quoted above are from jobs we have done for previous clients, so your documents may not come to the same amount. We can only give you a firm price on seeing copies of your documents. Prices vary between documents due to length, complexity of layout, legibility and urgency, as well as recent changes in VAT and the payment and postage methods chosen by the client. Based on 1-sided A4 documents, prices include VAT and certification in English, or both English and the target language in the case of translations for abroad. Please note, we charge by the number of words and complexity of layout, not per document, with a minimum charge of £67.00 including VAT for a certified translation. Sworn translations cost more due to the time spent swearing the Affidavit which accompanies the translation. If you are a private individual outside of the EU or a company outside of the UK, you do not have to pay VAT. In the case of a couple who used our services for their wedding abroad, we offer a discounted minimum for a certified English translation of their marriage certificate necessary to change a wife's name in her passport, for instance. Most translations take between 1 and 4 working days to complete, with an extra day required for first class postage; registered or express delivery at extra charge (usually starting from £6 for Special Delivery and £7 for Airsure/International Signed For). Your full contact details, including postal address, email (if applicable) and telephone number with advance payment are required before translation commences. Payment can be made by credit card (£4 fee), UK debit card (free), UK cheque (free), BACS (free), SWIFT (all fees to be paid by you) and by UK postal order (free). You can also pay at any Post Office by Eurogiro or TransCash, using a credit or debit card or cash (all fees to be paid by you). We also accept payment online via PayPal (£4 fee) and Moneybookers (£2 fee).
